PYS Lil' Kickers

WHAT TO EXPECT
Our U5 Lil’ Kickers program is designed for our youngest future PYS soccer stars, or any player who wants to run around, have some fun, and make new friends.
It is designed for children who have not entered Kindergarten (typically age 3 or 4). We do not set a minimum age for participation, as long as you feel your child is ready to actively participate.
The Lil' Kickers participate weekly in a 1-hour, skills-based, session on Saturday mornings at our PYS fields. Parents are encouraged to volunteer to help and are welcome to participate.
Players should bring a soccer ball (no larger than Size 3), a water bottle, and plenty of energy. The program introduces our future players to the game of soccer through fun games. Players are provided with a PYS "Lime Green" shirt...it's a rite of passage.
If you have any questions regarding the program, or if you'd like to volunteer, please contact Mark Williams, U5 Lil’ Kickers Coordinator.
WHEN DO SESSIONS RUN?
Sessions are run on Saturday mornings. We try to group kids based on age and experience to provide an ideal level of challenge for all players in the program. Typically the schedule is:
- Youngest Little Kickers begin at 9AM
- Next group begins at 10AM
- Oldest and most experienced Little Kickers begin at 11AM.
