SECRETARY’S REPORT
Minutes from February 11, 2009 meeting were reviewed. REPORT ACCEPTED.

OLD BUSINESS

FIELD RENTAL UPDATE
Previous email vote by Board for spring Sunday field rental to Scorpions was for a rate of $80/field. In fall Scorpions paid $4250 for the season for 2 fields. Board discussed charging $5,000 for spring season for 2 fields or move to the $80 per (full) field/game. Concern expressed by Board members regarding number of games Scorpions wanted to use fields, maintaining the fields and continuing the relationship with the Scorpions. Also discussed moving to a per field/per game pricing structure for fall 2009--will set pricing next meeting. MOTION: Authorize Dan Sullivan to negotiate with Scorpions for spring field use with the following structure: $5,000 for spring season 2U10 games and 6 U12+ games per Sunday, with authorization to accept no less than $4250. MOTION PASSED.

FINANCIAL REVIEW
A financial review of PYS books will be scheduled. Copy of banking records should be given to Executive Board each month.

CRANBERRY LEAGUE PROPOSAL
Tabled until later date.

APRIL BOARD MEETING
The Board Meeting for April, 2009 will be at the South Shore Field House.

TREASURER’S REPORT
No Report

REGISTRAR’S REPORT
No Report. Bill Tholen has been looking into web based solutions for registration. Average cost would be $2.50 per player. Credit card rates are similar to what we are paying now.

COACHING EDUCATION REPORT
Ralph Perrotto reported. G course held 3/7/09. The F course will be held 3/14/09.

COASTAL REPORT
Fran Squatrito reported. Coastal books should be ready 3/19/09. Reminder: all volunteers must be registered and Cori checked.

REFEREE COORDINATOR REPORT
Bill Tholen reported. Should have about 50 referees for spring. Ref meeting will be 3/31/09. Coaches/parents rules review course will be 3/30/09.

NEW BUSINESS

UNIFORMS
Uniforms have been ordered and are on schedule for delivery prior to start of season.

PHS TURF FIELD
Dan is working on getting use of PHS turf field for some games.

FIELD CLEAN-UP
3/21/09 at 9am with rain date of 3/22.

CALENDAR RAFFLE
Calendars are going to printer.
