SECRETARY'S REPORT
Minutes from September 2007 meeting were reviewed. Need to correct attendance.

OLD BUSINESS
SPRING 2008 SELECT TEAM COACHES
At the last meeting there were no GU14 candidates. Three candidates have come
forward: Jim Aubert, Matt O'Brien, and Walter Kuketz. Handouts were provided stating their
background, experience, and philosophy. The board appointed Walter Kuketz as GU14 Select
coach. The board also discussed the possibility of the GU14 team needing to play below the
A1 group in the spring.
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS UPDATE
Have about $3,905.76 in bills coming in related to Capital Improvements projects
and about $2,900 left in Capital Improvements fund.
Motion: Transfer enough funds from Operating Account to cover remaining expenses (about
$1,000). Passed.
TREASURER'S REPORT
Lisa Stoyle provided a handout (Income & Expense and Balance Sheet) and
reviewed.

REGISTRAR'S REPORT
Ann Shea not present but called her to review spring teams. Decided on the
following:
BU12 - 6 teams - 15/14/14/14/14/14 - 15 max (will field a weighted
#2 team)
GU12 - 6 teams - 15/15/15/15/16/16 - 15 max - Closed (will field a weighted #2 team)
BU14 - 46 players - 2 teams - 23/23 - Closed (McDonald & Schafer fall only make 46)
GU14 - 44 players - 2 teams - 22/22 - Closed
COACHING EDUCATION REPORT
More E course discussion. Bill Tholen will schedule an E course for March.

NEW BUSINESS
SPRING CLINICS - PAUL TURNER
Discussed expanding spring clinics. Paul Turner is going to UK to recruit coaches
and wants to know our plans. Decided to stick with PTUSA and expand program to include U8s
as well as U10s. Will also need to charge in order to get most of cost back. Exact amount
TBD.
