SECRETARY’S REPORT: Accepted and put on file.
OLD BUSINESS: Fall Fund-raiser for November 6, 2004. Cow Bingo, hopefully,
we could try to sell 1,000 tickets at $5 per ticket raising $5,000. Our goal is
to raise money for four (4) $1,000 scholarships and to award one grand prize of
$1,000 to the winner of Cow Bingo.
SELECT TEAM ROSTERS: Announce all candidates who made the team at the same
date. Registration at the tryouts worked out very well.
TREASURER’S REPORT: We have $57,000 in the bank. We’re not being charged
for the portable potties for the month of November. High school charged at the
end of the season for lining, mowing etc., of the fields.
REGISTRAR’S REPORT: Ann Shea is the leading candidate for the Registrar
position. We have nine teams for the U-10 group, if we bring it down to eight we
would have 13 players per team. The number of teams needs to be in by December 6th.
We would have to redraft U-10 Boys teams if they were unequally weighted in the
talent area.
COACHING EDUCATION: Kingston had courses they were two-hour specialty
clinics. They were $150.00 per class. Bill Tholen is hoping to bring some of
them to Pembroke.
COASTAL REPORT: November 1st elections. January 24th
where teams are being placed.
NEW BUSINESS: Spring uniforms, Bill Cullity is going to check out prices.
Open positions on the Pembroke Youth Soccer Board will be announced and
publicized on the site and in the paper. Hoping to attract some new people.
